Privacy and cookies

This page explains what this website collects, why, and who else can see it. It is written to be read rather than to protect anyone legally. If something here is unclear, please ask.

Who is responsible

Karen D'Aprile trading as Massageology, 1 Daisy Street, Croydon Park, NSW 2133. You can reach Karen on 0412 444 492 or at karen@massageology.com.au.

When you send an enquiry

The enquiry form asks for three things: your name, a phone number, and your message. They are sent straight to Karen by email so she can reply to you. Nothing you type is saved to a database, and the content of your message is never sent to any analytics tool.

Before the form sends, Cloudflare Turnstile runs a background check to confirm you are a person rather than a bot. That check loads a small script from Cloudflare and looks at how the page was used. It does not read what you typed.

Cookies this site sets

Two cookies, both set by Google Analytics, which runs in your browser. Neither is an advertising cookie, and neither carries your name, your phone number, or anything you typed.

There are no advertising cookies and no social media buttons anywhere on this site. Google Analytics does load its own script in your browser, and it sets the two _gacookies above.

Until 18 August 2026 this site also set two of its own cookies, _mo_cid and_mo_sid, for the same counting purpose. It no longer sets them. If you visited before that date your browser may still hold them, and they expire on their own.

What the analytics record

Which pages were visited, roughly where in the world the visit came from, what kind of device and browser were used, and whether someone tapped the phone number, the map link, a booking link, or started an enquiry. That is it. The purpose is to know which pages are worth keeping and whether people can find what they need.

Who else sees this

• Cloudflare hosts the site and handles its DNS and bot protection, so it processes every request, including your IP address.
• Google Analytics receives the page and interaction events described above. They are sent from this site's server, not from your browser.
• The clinic's email provider carries and stores enquiry emails, in the same way as any email you send.

Your information is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with anyone beyond the three above.

How long it is kept

Enquiry emails stay in the clinic mailbox until Karen deletes them, in the same way as any other client correspondence. Analytics data is held by Google Analytics for the retention period set on the account. The cookies expire on their own after the periods in the table above.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so does not stop you using the site or sending an enquiry. Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can also ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email karen@massageology.com.au and Karen will action it.
